Advent calls a new pastor

On June 3, the Reverand Johanna Kiefner was presented to the congregation as the pastoral candidate for Advent Lutheran Church.  Pastor Kiefner presided over the morning service, then met with the congregation in the meeting following the service.  The congregation unanimously voted to offer the call to Pastor Kiefner, which she accepted.  Pastor Johanna will start as pastor on August 15, 2007.
