The congregation will celebrate together right after Sunday morning services, December 16. Potluck sign-up is available in the Narthex. The service this day will also feature Advent Youth in a Christmas drama. One of many reasons to celebrate on December 16!
A service of healing will be held 7 p.m., Thursday, November 29 at Advent Lutheran Church in Rindge. The service is open to anyone in the community, with special prayers for anyone in need of healing or who wishes to pray for and ask for prayers for others. Pastor Johanna Keifner will preside over this special service.
This Saturday is a big day for Advent Lutheran Church. We hope to see you with us as we begin to celebrate the Thanksgiving and Christmas season with our annual Holiday Bazaar and Silent Auction---9 a.m. to 2 p.m., November 17. Below you'll see just a little preview of all that we have to offer. Every year our Bazaar gets more...well...Bazaary...and we love welcoming all of our friends and neighbors into our church for this event. Here's a sneak preview:
In addition to the crafts and food you see here, we will run a Silent Auction throughout the day. Shoppers place a written bid on special, select items such as antiques, collectibles, gift certificates and much more, items that will make excellent Christmas gifts, or help you decorate your home for the season (look for photos of these items here later in the week). Bidding takes place until 2 p.m. The winning bidder need not be present to win. We will call you to come pick up your treasures!
Please note we are located next to the new Atlas Fireworks Retail outlet on Route 202, between the Jaffrey and Rindge town centers. We're an easy stop on your way to or from the grocery store or Walmart. Look for our sign on the roadside. Please give a call to the number at the upper left if you have any questions.
