I'll be presenting a seminar series on social media beginning November
3 in Peterborough, NH. Businesses can use today’s social media to great
effect in getting their messages across to niche audiences. These
seminars will provide an overview of each of the leading social media
tools, plus hands-on experience in learning and using them. Business
case studies will be presented in each topic. Each of the four seminars
will be held in the second floor activity room of The Common House at Nubanusit Neighborhood and Farm in Peterborough.
Those without any prior experience using any of the tools are highly encouraged to enroll in the first seminar, Social Media Tour, to get a foundation in the theory and practice of social media for business. The remaining three seminars are designed to take participants beyond knowing about social media to learning how to use them strategically to advance business goals.
Each seminar runs 4 to 5:30 p.m. The schedule is as follows:
- November 3: Social Media Tour, $15
- November 5: Facebook for Business, $35*
- November 10: Twitter for Business, $35*
- November 12: Blogging, Podcasting and YouTubing, $35*
*Take all three seminars, excluding Social Media Tour, for $90.
